Popular self-provisioning and management capabilities minimize customer set-up and continuing support costs for ISPs in fast-growing Asian markets
ATLANTA (January 3, 2000) Netsurfer, Inc., a leading supplier of software that simplifies Internet subscription, set-up, and ongoing subscriber management, announced today a version of its popular NetKit software designed specifically for the Asian language market. The new double-byte version, which supports all features that have made NetKit the preferred solution in the U.S., enables Asian ISPs to quickly implement customizations of NetKit appropriate for their particular subscribers.
"We continually work to make our product serviceable to new geographic markets throughout the globe," says Jeff Russell, Netsurfer president and CEO. "The new double-byte capability provides the foundation for translation into multiple languages in multiple markets, all of whom will benefit immensely from NetKits streamlining of the Internet experience."
The new double-byte, Asian-language version, which is available for immediate shipment, is part of an orchestrated initiative to broaden NetKits reach. Netsurfer introduced Spanish and Portuguese versions in the Latin American market in 1999, and a French Canadian version of NetKit currently in translation is scheduled for release early this year.
